NA3HL announces 2018 Top Prospects rosters and schedule

120 NA3HL players will be six different teams during event in Plymouth, Michigan from February 27-28

FRISCO, TEXAS – The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced the rosters and schedule for the 2018 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, which will be held from February 27-28 at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament is played in conjunction with the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. The event has quickly become one of the most highly-scouted events of its kind, with hundreds of junior, NCAA and NHL expected in attendance this season.

The NA3HL Standings were frozen on Monday, January 29th. Teams were then seeded within their division based on win percentage. The number of players each NA3HL team is sending to the event was based on each team’s winning percentage within their group. Each team will consist of a 20-man roster (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies). Any player who will be considered for the event, must be nominated by their respective head coaches.

120 total players from the NA3HL will be spread amongst six teams, who will play in three games each during the event.  The event will feature four teams that represent the eight divisions in the NA3HL. Two separate NA3HL Selects teams will compete as the fifth and sixth teams in the event.  The Selects team rosters are comprised of players with birth years of 1999, 2000, or 2001.

About the NA3HL

Now in its eighth season, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), one of six USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior leagues, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification.  The primary mission of the NA3HL, which is managed organizationally by the North American Hockey League (NAHL), is to provide a structured developmental environment for student-athletes whose youth options are limited but are still reaching their potential and have aspirations of playing in the NAHL or United States Hockey League and eventually the NCAA or American College Hockey Association.  For more information, visit
