The Stars fall to the Stampede 3-1

The New England Stars' defense had a poor night, allowing the Oswego Stampede 50 shots throughout the game. The Oswego Stampede took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Ryan Gunther.

In the second period, Gulick opened the scoring for Oswego with a goal at 4:46 with helpers from teammates Hart and Moukoulis.

During the third, Gunther netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:30 with assists from Forsythe and Kilway. Watterson scored a goal at 11:21 with helpers from his linemates, Walker and Simmonds. Lovejoy finally put New England on the board with a goal at 17:29 with an assist from Archambeault.

This loss brings the New England Stars’ record to (11-4-2-0).
