The Stars defeat the Islanders 2-1

The New England Stars' offense had a big night, peppering the Cape Cod Islanders with 40 shots throughout the game. The New England Stars took the lead late in the first on a goal from Cole Archambeault and never looked back.

In the first period, Norris opened the scoring for the Stars with a goal at 19:12 with a helper from Barter. Archambeault quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:54 with assists from his linemates, Caisse and Gudaitis.
